Thank you for response.  Your options make perfect sense.
As I said, I was simply having a cup of coffee when the two of you started talking about retaining walls.  Your knowledge and ability to create visualizations /analogies kept me screwed to the chair. Thank you for that.  I had never heard of Geogrids before but the logic flows easily.
